1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser or device. We also use similar technologies such as local storage (localStorage). In this policy we refer to all of them as "cookies".

2. What do we use them for?

At Goetia.ai we use cookies for two purposes only:

1. Providing a better service — keeping you signed in, remembering your language and your preferences.
2. Analytics — understanding, in aggregate, how the platform is used so we can improve it.

We do not use cookies for any other purpose. Should this change in the future, we will update this policy and request your consent again where the law requires it.

3. Cookies we use

a) Essential (no consent required)

Necessary for the platform to work. Without them we cannot provide the service.

• goetia_token — keeps your session signed in. Duration: up to 1 year.
• goetia_lang — remembers your language (Spanish or English). Duration: 1 year.
• goetia_consent (local storage) — stores your decision about this policy, so we don't ask you again on every visit.
• Technical cookies from Stripe during checkout, for security and fraud prevention (subject to Stripe's policy).
• Technical cookies from Google if you choose to sign in with Google (subject to Google's policy).

b) Analytics (only with your consent — opt-in)

These are activated only if you press "Accept" on our cookie notice. Until you accept, they remain disabled.

• Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics cookies (e.g. _ga, _ga_*) — aggregated usage metrics: pages visited, features used, visit duration. Duration: up to 2 years.
• Other measurement tags managed through Google Tag Manager, always subordinate to your consent.

4. Your consent (opt-in model)

The first time you visit Goetia.ai we show you a notice with three options: Accept, Reject and Learn more. Analytics cookies are only activated if you expressly accept. If you reject, the platform works normally using essential cookies only.

5. Changing or withdrawing your consent

You can change your decision at any time:

Pressing the button takes you back to the platform, where the cookie notice will appear again so you can choose. You can also clear cookies from your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge all allow this in their privacy settings).

6. Third parties

The third parties that may set cookies on Goetia.ai are: Google (Tag Manager, Analytics and Google Sign-In) and Stripe (payments). Each processes data under its own privacy policy, which we recommend you review.
